Channelmanager always includes the contextpath when accessing site

When the site and cms are running under the same domain i.e. http://www.example.org/ (site) & http://www.example.org/cms/ (cms), the channelmanager still tries to access the site over /site/. This is not necessary in this case, as site and CMS share the same session anyway.

It should be configurable how/under which path the site is accessed, potentially one not equal to the context path. (What happens if the site is deployed in the root context?)
