Description
As a developer, if I make a field in a document type "read-only", I want that field to be read only(not editable) in both content perspective and experience manager so that editors and authors cannot edit that field.
Reproduction:
The elements can not be made read only on the experience manager edit button.
- Edited the banner document type and added a text field(screenshot attached)
- Made the textbox read only with mode property(Screenshot attached)
- Now in the CMS it is read only (I added Testing Read only before adding the mode attribute)(Screenshot attached)
- But in the experience manager it is editable(Screenshot Added)
Current behaviour : View only in content perspective but editable in channel manager.
Expected behaviour: View only in both content perspective and channel manager.
Requirement:
The "read only" document field should be read only in both content perspective and experience manager.
