Tiger Sprint 181
Description
New insights lead to the conclusion that we cannot easily show a Publish and Save button next to each other (show at the same time), and set the correct state on both buttons. The chosen solution is to have one button that serves both functions.
- when document is dirty, show an enabled Save button
- when document is clean, show a disabled Save button if no publication action is available (publish or request-publication)
- when document is clean, show a Publish button if a publication action is available.
Situations:
- new document: disabled Save button, make a change: enabled Save button, click Save: show Publish button if publish is possible, otherwise disabled Save button
- live document: disabled Save button, make a change: enabled Save button etc (see first point)
- changed document: Publish button enabled, make a change: enabled Save button etc (see first point)
Also change the Close/Cancel button: it should always show Close. Otherwise two buttons change labels, which is not very nice. The functionality of this button (show dialogs etc) must not change.
