Escape button not working properly when picking document location in Create Content step 1

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new document in the channel manager
2. Click the magnifying glass icon in the form to select a new location.
3. Press the Escape button on your keyboard as if you want to cancel the operation.

Expected behavior:

The picker dialog will close, and you will be able to continue creating the document.

Actual behavior:

The picker dialog remains open, but the right side panel closes instead. Important to mention, if you focus on the dialog (for example, click anywhere inside), and then click Escape, it works as expected. Problem only appears if you try to close the dialog before clicking in it.
