[AngularJS-picker] "pages" item selected on backend

If I load the document picker with a pre-existing path (http://localhost:8080/site/_rp/aaaaaaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaaaaaaaaaa./picker/news/) and then switch to "Pages" it would be nice to auto-select the same item in pages if possible. Meaning I would go to this url (http://localhost:8080/site/_rp/68447484-6c7f-4471-8734-2deaaf394ce5./picker/news) and that would return the news item as 'selected': true if it exists, otherwise it would return the default 'pages'.
