Log some statistics on number of nodes processed after a groovy script has run

When running a groovy script in the Updater Editor in the cms, some info at the start and end of the run are logged. Some extra info about the number of visited nodes would be very handy.
For example: total number of nodes visited, how many nodes were saved, and that both for the doUpdate and the undoUpdate process.

(If this info is already available, but on log.debug level, can it be changed to info level as default?)
