tilde in repo.path is expanded for the h2 database but not for the index

When using a tilde in the repo.path property part of the repository files is written to the home folder, part of the files is written to a subfolder in the current folder with the name ~.
The h2 files are written to the expanded folder name, other files to a folder named ~
