Ability to pass in logger to initialization processor to redirect initialization messages to frontend

Some console dialogs leverage the initialization processor to initialize content in the repository. In order to give feedback to the user about the failure or success of these operations it should be possible to provide the processor with an alternative logger to write messages to.
