Auto-export fails to detect deleted nodes in diff stage

    Description

      Deleting an existing config node does not produce a diff in auto-export. This appears to be a problem specific to the "diff" stage of the process – an event is generated and detected, and delete tests for DefinitionMergeService continue to pass.
