Create utility to retrieve variant from Document

For Visual Editing, I need to be able to retrieve the draft node of a document. Initially, the (Editable)Workflow gives me the draft node, wrapped in a Document, but for subsequent API calls, all I have id the handle node to go with.

The idea is to add a DocumentUtils class to the repository API, providing this functionality.
