    Description

      We are trying to leverage the sip protocol within our Intranet ( https://www.onsip.com/blog/what-is-my-sip-address-faqs ) and the link rewriter isn't recognizing that format.
      I've noticed that the code is not currently set up to recognize that protocol.

      Can you please add "sip:" to the allowed external URL resources? (the definition of the protected static final String[] EXTERNALS within the SimpleContentRewriter.java class).
