linking to mount from sitemenu

As discussed on the development mailinglist:

"Is it possible to link to a Mount from a Sitemenu? I want to have an item 'Nederlands' in the English Sitemenu which I want to link to the Dutch mount, and vice versa. Of course this would be possible by linking to an external URL, but this isn't very elegant in my opinion."
