In ChannelManager#createUniqueChannelId replace the load() method and use just jcr node traversal to create a new channel id

currently, to create a new channelId, the entire hst model needs to be loaded : this is not needed: Just use the jcr nodes directly. This reduces possible hiccups when the hst model is not yet loaded
