Investigate the need for cross-domain / cross-channel linking in a forced preview mode in cms template composer or preview context

Currently, the cms preview mode disables cross site/domain and cross channel linking. This is, because in the context of the template composer, we don't want an user to switch to a different channel (without him realizing it for example). The HST cross domain / channel linking is disabled in this context.

However, does this also hold for the 'preview'. In this mode, users might want to browse the site as it really is. However, at the same time, in the context of a template composer, you want him to stay in one channel.
