HST authentication is not respecting hst:showcontextpath setting

    • HST running behind a reverse proxy which is stripping the context path from the URL.

    Description

      When authenticating through the HST, you are redirected to a URL which includes the contextpath, regardless of the hst:showcontextpath setting.
      A workaround is to explicitly configure each domain in use in your reverse proxy, ProxyPassReverse in the case of Apache HTTPD.

      As a consequence we've lost the possibility to easily use wildcards in HTTPD and the hst:virtualhosts, wich means we can't easily add subsites/-domains.
