Option to hide "abstract" pages in the sitemap editor

If you have an "abstract" page configuration and multiple pages that are derived from the abstract configuration (home, detail, overview). It would be nice to control in the page editor if a page can be chosen in the sitemap editor. You don't want user to chose abstract, only home, detail and overview.
