Use a button to add a content block instead of a link

When an editor wants to add a type of content block, a link must be clicked in the cms document. A button would be more logical for such an action. And it would give the block types a more noticable place in the UI. Shouldn't they be aligned to the left instead of the right? All these kind of actions are positioned there (add new value to multivalued field, select an an image in the gallerylinkpicker etc).
