Poll: document how to handle poll in frontend (HST)

Poll documentation does not describe how to handle a poll in the frontend (HST). This is not trivial, since form submission needs to be taken care of (e.g. generate hst action url in jsp) etc.
Two standard HST components are mentioned in the docs, but what do they do, what is the difference, etc.?
