Invalid field in content block is shown as error on the block itself

For the CMS editor in the content perspective:

When a field in a content block is invalid and you save the document, the summary at the top reports 2 errors instead of one. It seems like it reports the block itself also as an error, next to the invalid field.

That is visible also in the red borders around the block and in all the fields of the block. The validation message of the field (or one of the fields in case there are more invalid fields) is shown below the block also. That is all incorrect and confusing, taking the eye of the user away from the real problem.
