    Description

      The Selections and Taxonomy plugins contain methods that are marked @Deprecated, sometimes with javadoc explaining that the code 'will be removed in
      version 12.00 and onward'.

      Let's live up to that promise and remove that code.

      Please check the other supported standard plugins for this as well. A new major release is the only moment for us to do this.
