NPE while editing comments document

1. Login to CMS
2. Navigate to Documents >> Hippo Go Green >> Comments >> News >> select any folder and document
3. Edit the document
4. Click on save & close button

Expected - User should be able to save and close the document and the new changes should be preserved.
Actual - Nothing happens, attached NPE is shown in the console
