banner carousel: banners are not clickable

    Description

      To reproduce:

      • edit the the sample banners to have destination links (e.g. two news docs)
      • create a carousel component that uses the two sample banners
      • publish everything and go to the live site

      Expected: the banner carousel is clickable and clicking a banner navigates to the correct document
      Actual: the banner carousel is not clickable

      This affects both the JSP as well as the Freemarker version of the carousel.
