Using Search Component results in search-main.ftl freemarker template error

Steps to reproduce:
1) Use essentials archetype and add Search feature
2) Add search to the site and open site
3) Type search text and hit search

Expected: Search results
Actual: Error is logged that item.title is null in freemarker template search-main.ftl
