InternetExplorer:svg images can not be uploaded via multiple file upload dialog in IE

Steps to reproduce:-->
1.Go to images section & try to upload a svg image using multiple file upload dialog.
2.Notice file can not be uploaded & thumbnail of the image can not be seen
3.spinner keeps on spinning.

Note:-->1.Problem is only seen with internet explorer browser.
2.Issue is actually with the jquery file uploder.You can check uploading a svg file in IE using the online demo & the image can't be uploaded there as well.

Latest version of jquery upload is 9.11.2.
