Regression - Image upload dialog does not close after feedback on invalid image

Found with regression automation. Reproduced locally

Scenario: Upload an image with too large file size
When the user chooses to add moon.jpg
Then the feedback is that the image is too large (file size)
When I click Close

Expected: Dialog is closed
Actual: Ajax indicator spins but dialog is not closed. No messages logged
