When logging in with "remember me" on and there is an old cookie still active, there is another login attempt with the cookie credentials.

When logging in with "remember me" on and there is an old cookie still active, there is another login attempt with the cookie credentials. This results in an exception, leading to an infinite loop.

This issue was discovered on the linked client issue and only happens on CMS v2.24.13 and forward. We could not reproduce it locally, but we could see it on the stacktraces attached to the client issue.
