[channels] Remove mousedown effect on buttons in IE10 / IE11

Buttons in IE have a mousedown effect to visualize clicking on the button.
Remove this effect on the newly created buttons in the channel manager to ensure consistency across browsers.
This can be done by adding a <span> around the text of the button and adding some styling:
