Implement fancy dropdown using query-selectric

To implement the dropdown in the latest visuals we need to use a javascript driven plugin, preferably a jQuery plugin, since it is not possible to achieve this design using plain CSS.

A simple plugin that supports our needs and can be acquired using Bower is Selectric [1].
