Regression: In Safari dropdown fields can't be selected with mouse/trackpad

When working in the CMS through Safari (7.0.5) values of dropdown selection fields can't be selected.
Sample steps:
1) Open the CMS and login
2) Click Create a product document
3) Click 'Choose One' in the Value field
Expected: List of product categories
Actual result: List is not opened
