regression: opening or switching tabs in document type editor does not update url

To reproduce, open a regular document, then open a document type from the configuration section

Constructing the URL manually will actually open the correct tab (for instance http://cms.demo.test.onehippo.com/?1&path=/hippo:namespaces/hippogogreen/newsitem)
