Validation error after clicking "Add menu item" without entering data in IE11

In IE11 creating a new menu item immediately triggers a validation error, although the user did not enter any data yet.

Steps to reproduce (in archetype)

• login into CMS
• Open Getting started channel
• click Edit channel
• click Edit menu
• click "Add menu item"
  Expected: an empty "Create menu item" form is shown without any errors
  Actual: Tooltip "Label is required" is displayed and input field is marked red.
