Regression - Referring document is not working properly

1. Login to CMS
2. Navigate to a document that is referred by another document example - http://cms.demo.test.onehippo.com/?1&path=/content/documents/hippogogreen/news/2009/10/european-retailers-adopt-voluntary-sustainable-business-code
3. Access publication menu and select take offline

Expected - Take document offline dialog should be shown with number of document and actual documents being referred
Actual - The dialog shows "This document is not referred by any documents" is shown.

Note - This is working fine in 7.8.xx and 7.7.xx go green.
