Javascript error after creation of new channel

If I upgrade the channelmanager addon to version 2.24.06 by adding the following property to the hippo archetype (archetypeVersion=1.07.04) I get a Javascript error when a new channel is created.

The error message is "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'data' of undefined "

Reproduction path is:

1. Start archetype
2. Open op Chrome
3. Open the Javascript console
4. Go to channel manager
5. Add channel
6. Complete the form
7. Create the channel and see the error message appear in the Javascript Console
