Text fields do not get saved

    Description

      On a slow network it regularly happens that text entered in textfields disappears.

      Examples:

      • Editor enters title, fills other fileds and after saving, the title is empty.
      • Editor creates new document, fills in name, URL field is not being filled. Document can not be created.
      • Editors complain that when saving the CMS complains about mandatory fields not being filled in, when they actually are.
      • When trying to log in, the login will fail with the message 'Username: required, Password: required' while they were filled in. The language choice was also reset in these cases. Username and pw are still filled in after this, but I suspect that's the browser.

      My assumption is that an (asynchronous) post is not being sent/received, so while everything is in order clientside, the server has never received the data.
