Xinha IE JS error: object doesn't support property or method 'pasteHTML'

reported by a client. Reproduction path:

• Log in on https://cms.demo.onehippo.com/
• Edit the description of a document
• Insert an image (leave selection on the image)
• Insert a table (default settings)

Expected: Image is removed and Table is inserted
Result: nothing happens, the following JS error is reported:

Message: Object doesn't support property or method 'pasteHTML'
