Field validation feedback message in document editor disappears when a ping arrives

To reproduce:

• In the CMS, create a new document
• Leave a required field empty and save the document
• A feedback message is shown, like: "A string value is empty"

Expected behavior: There is ample time to read the feedback message for as many times as I want
Actual behavior: The message disappears when the first "ping" arrives
