Backport - Add node auto complete behavior should be smarter

The add node dialog in the console has auto complete behavior but you mostly won't notice it because it only works for a very limited set of cases. This is because residual node type definitions are ignored and only when the name of a node type definition is non residual does the auto complete get populated.
