No error when putting non-number into long/number field

Reproduce: Edit a document (which Type has a long/number field), put 9823892892300000000000012 in it and Save.
Or put abc in it (also for Double).

There is no error message that it's not a correct input and it takes the old value. It does update other changes made at the same moment.
