CMS Version: 2.15.01 build 23197
PC: HAL58
OS: Ubuntu Karmic Koala 64-bit
Browser: Firefox 3.6.3
Description
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new document type with some fields. In the test case I created a doctype with a couple of booleans, formatted text and rich formatted text (hippostd:html). Save the document type and create a new document based on the created document type. Edit the content and then save, but leave the document open!
Go back to the configuration editor and edit the document type and change the path of the rich formatted text field (hippostd:html) to some other value. Save then update all content. It will fail. Retry and update all content a few more times. Then switch back to the opened document based on the document type and click on done. Then update all content again.
Observed result:
Update all content will fail the first time and will also fail after you close the opened document. After a short while the CMS starts to show serious issues, basic workflow actions like switching tabs don't work anymore. A few moments after that, it crashes completely.
Expected result:
I don't know whether the update all content should fail because of the changed paths. But my guess is that changed paths should be updated and update all content should therefore succeed.
I did this around 17:45 on 25th of june and logs show a lot of errors around that time: http://cmstest.onehippo.com/logs/hippo-cms.log
Because the CMS crashed I can't test any other similar use cases to see what's exactly causing the update all content to fail.
