Layout bug search

On overflow text in the Searchbox exhibits strange behavior. At first by typing the cursor will disappear (and new text), after a dozen characters ~ scrolls the text. Text field seems bigger than design has provided

When "search string" extends beyond "search box", the search characters are not shown properly. In this state when user continues search nothing is displayed though "search string" is valid and exists. Attached stack trace is seen.
