DateField should have option to not set date automatically

    Description

      The date field has the feature that the date is automatically set to today when the value is empty. This is a great feature, but for some date fields we'd like to turn that off. So in that case, the date should never be set automatically, but only manually. The button which sets the date to today can remain there.

      Consider making the label short, e.g. "use current date/time"
