saving is impossible

• start quickstart war
• log in
• go to the documents
• go to configuration
• click on defaultcontent
• add new document type
• call it person
• edit new document type
• add a String field, call it Name, and make it mandatory
• add a richt text field, call it Biography
• save document type
• update all content
• go to documents
• add folder "People"
• add new document of type Person
• type in a Name
• then click in the Biography field and start typing.
• The loading icon in the top left corner will appear, the mouse pointer will change into a loading icon
• The loading never stops!!!!
• There are no errors/warnings on the console
• After waiting a few minutes and realizing the loading will not stop, click Save
• Nothing happens

I have been able to reproduce this twice with a clean quickstart war. Marked as blocker because saving is impossible.

There are two warnings on the console when creating/opening the new document:
