Multiple open editors leads to loss of newly entered content

It is tested for a string field and for a text field.

1) I open a document in an editor.
2) I add some text in a string field.
3) I leave the string field and immediately select another document.
4) In the tab for the newly selected document, I open the editor.
5) I go back to the editor of the first document.
6) My edits are gone.
