No draft version of nodetype template visible in session that calls workflow

When editing a template-type (EditmodelWorkflow.edit), the newly created version is not visible in the session that made the call, even with save() or refresh(true|false).

This is related to the SPI layer; the same issue does not arise with an embedded repository.
