Resource Bundle plugin extensibility

The ResourceBundlePlugin is not very extensible requiring some not-so best practices to extend its functionality (reflection, duplicate code).
With some tweaks like adding getters for some private variables and relaxing access modifiers it would make it easier to extend and more maintenable.
