Description
We use default English names for our documentypes, components and compounds plus we provide translations (in our case Dutch). However when users have Dutch language settings in their browser, the documenttypes are still sorted by the English names and not by the shown Dutch names. This leads to confusion. Please sort document types by translation-name instead of original name.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set in a browser (ie chrome) the language settings to something different from English.
- Log in the cms.
- Define several documenttypes and/or compounds with english names with different starting character.
- Define translations in which the starting character differs from the English starting character. More specifc, take characters which alter the sorting order when sorted. ie. e -> u and o -> a
- log off and log on in the cms again.
- You'll see a list of sorted documenttypes with the translation names in a non-alfabetic order.
In the attachment you'll see a sorted list of Documenttypes where the Dutch name is shown, but isn't used while sorting. Screencapture.svg
