Ready for refinement
Description
To be refined.
Issue CMS-14312 was reopened because the issue was not completely fixed. During the Quasar refinement session, we decided to close that issue and open this one.
Steps:
- Change a document in brXM with an author/editor user and put a publication request.
- Reject the publication request with a chief editor
- Put a new publication request and accept this request
- Check the status
Client comment when reopening the issue:
The issue still exists in v15. "Rejected request" notification gets displayed in case the publication request was rejected first and then accepted later.
Acceptance criteria:
If a new request was accepted the message about the earlier, rejected request should not be displayed. So instead of the current: Page '' offline/live: request rejected, it should read:
Page '' offline/live
Question for cdekort :
After a request is accepted, should we remove any previously rejected requests? In this way, they won't be displayed in the CMS.
Answer (FYI valeria.avramenko): That would solve the issue, yes... But it would also remove the feedback that was the reason for the rejection(s). Can we assume that that feedback is not relevant anymore now that a later request has been accepted and it is an oversight of the user that the request is not dropped?
I guess so... But we should document this changed behavior for sure!
And for PaaS (if this is to be backported?) is there no risk that this will interfere with any custom workflow?
