Deprecated class in code

Class : EssentialsListPickerComponent.java should ideally be deprecated in v14.0.0 (see screenshot)but it's still available in both code and documentation site.

Please confirm if this is indeed deprecated and will be removed in later versions. Also, What is the alternative to this one? The requirement is ability to add multiple documents to the component added on the page in channel manager.
