Switch from content editor to component editor freezes the right side panel

Steps:

1. enter a channel in the experience manager
2. click the "show content buttons" button
3. click a content button now which you made visible in step 2
4. now click the "show container and component outlines"
5. without making any document changes or saving, toggle the editor into component mode by clicking a component outline you made visible in step 4

Expected: Properties should be editable
Actual: Right side panel is frozen (In the console - TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'isDisabled'))
