In Dynamic Components' dropdowns, not possible to unselect value

When using dropdowns in dynamic components, see section "Drop Down Properties" at [1] it is not possible to unselect a once chosen value, so it's not possible to return to the state of the component when added to the container initially.

Note: trying a workaround by adding an empty resource bundle entry doesn't work: the id of the resource bundle is presented instead of empty value.
